Commemorating K3 Month, Brantas Abipraya Holds a QHSSE Workshop
Jakarta, January 23th 2024 - As an effort to embed innovation and aesthetics to increase value creation within PT Brantas Abipraya (the Company), this State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) which operates in the construction sector is holding a QHSSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Security) workshop, and Environment). With the theme Innovation for Faster, Better, Cheaper and Safer, this activity was held in a hybrid manner, attended by all Abipraya people both at the Head Office and in Brantas Abipraya projects spread throughout Indonesia.
"Not only is it being held as a commemoration of Occupational Safety and Health Month (K3) in 2024, through this workshop activity we also want to encourage all Abipraya people, especially in projects, to further strengthen the implementation of QHSSE in their environment, as work risks increase and the world of national construction continues to develop." said Sugeng Rochadi, Main Director of Brantas Abipraya.
Sugeng Rochadi added, realizing that strengthening the commitment to implementing K3 is very important for all Abipraya people. Not only that, as a step towards becoming the Living Company, Brantas Abipraya must also continue to innovate, continue to adapt. In this activity, the Board of Directors encouraged all Abipraya employees to be prepared to face all changes and construction challenges by always learning and producing new products.
Innovations that directly impact a product, for example with Value Engineering, include changing construction methods and using materials to take technology into account.
Innovation is not limited to business units alone, but work units as supporting units are also very crucial for the sustainability of a system. Processes and systems that regulate a business flow need to be innovated to resolve obstacles that may be encountered by leading business units to deliver a service or product. So that the momentum (critical success factor) of the Company's business operations is not disrupted, it becomes more optimal, effective and efficient.
Sugeng Rochadi also said that apart from K3 and Innovation, all Brantas Abipraya projects must also include aesthetic elements in their construction work. So apart from superior construction quality, the aesthetics created can create elements of beauty in the building and increase its attractiveness.
In his speech, Sugeng Rochadi also explained that embedded culture is demonstrated by Agility to "Respond to Risks", providing an Early Warning System, not reactive but responsive.
"It is hoped that through this workshop, all Abipraya people will become more prepared to bring Brantas Abipraya to be superior and more advanced in facing the current VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity) era," concluded Sugeng Rochadi.
